Wishlist: Books

Hi everybody! I hope you had a great weekend packed with stuff you love doing, be it relaxing or reading a book, spending time with your kids, cooking, being creative, you name it.

I met up with two of my best friends yesterday and we had a great time shopping! I was a very good girl and didn't spend any money!!! Now this is quite an achievement because I LOVE clothes and I love shopping!!! But I had a great time anyway. Having such good friends is absolutely priceless!

But now I feel in need of a little treat and so I created this wish list of books I'd love to read!

1. At Home With White by Atlanta Bartlett

I'm a big fan of Atlanta Bartlett's style and I can't believe I haven't read this book yet! I need to get my hands on it ASAP! Unfortunately, I'm worried that I will want to redecorate my whole flat once I've read this book!

2. Bazaar Style by Selina Lake

I did a post on Selina Lake last week and was very inspired by the way she mixes vintage and retro items, flea-market finds and pieces inspired by a French brocante or Moroccan bazaars. Definitely a must-have!

3. Shabby Chic Interiors by Rachel Ashwell

I don't think I even have to say anything about this. You probably all know who this lady is... ;-)

4. Essentially French by Josephine Ryan

This book was published by Ryland Peters and Small which is enough to sell it to me! They do fantastic books on interior design and whenever I go to Maison, a furniture shops here in Richmond, I see this book there and think that I want to have a proper look inside!

5. All About Colour by Janice Lindsay

This book has been recommended by colour specialist Maria Killam from the brilliant blog Colour Me Happy. Are you following that blog? If you are interested in colour, you should!

  3. Hi Crafty Fox - Yes, I find Maria's blog quite addictive as well. It's amazing what this woman knows about colour!

Helen - Oh, it was hard!! You should have seen me all the other times when my willpower was gone as soon as I saw something I loved! So quite proud of myself for yesterday... ;-)
