tomorrow i will head out into the country to visit the rhs taste of the autumn show. for those of you who have no clue what the rhs is, it's the royal horticultural society, a british gardening charity promoting good gardening and the love for anything green in the UK. They have lot's of beautiful botanical gardens all over the country where they feature seasonal shows and offer advice on gardening. i don't have a garden myself since I live in London and i'm not even lucky enough to have a balcony to be honest. so why am i heading of to a garden show? well, in germany we usually have 'erntedankfest' in autumn which is similar to the american thanksgiving. i'm in the mood for a festival like that since i've been stuck in the office all week and could only admire the beautiful autumn colours through the window. i assume that the taste of the autumn festival will have lot's to offer. there will be stalls with fresh local produce, cooking demonstrations and craft activities. will make sure i bring lot's of good organic food back with me.
i can't wait to be honest. will take lot's of picture and let you know how it was...
do you have any special plans for the weekend?
speak to you soon,
nadine
