Versailles in Southampton

What?!? Want to see Versailles but don’t have enough cash to travel to Paris? No need. A British DIY addict has turned his two bedroom flat in Southampton, UK into a miniature copy of Versailles palace, despite never even having been to the French Palace. Adrian Reeman lives in a nine-storey tower block and has spent the last 23 years to transform his flat by using wood he found in skips to recreate the décor of the 18th Century French Palace outside Paris. He even used discarded wooden salad bowl to built tables and brass prongs from plugs to create the fireplace.
While I admire his stamina I’m quite sure I would go mad in this place…
