Made By Me

I can't believe it's Sunday evening and the weekend is over already. There is still so much I want to do before work is calling me back to reality tomorrow.
I had quite a creative weekend so far. This might have been triggered by the book I'm reading at the moment. It's called Taking Flight by Kelly Rae Roberts and it's directed to anybody who longs to be creative. It's such a good read that I will dedicate a seperate blog to it to tell you all about it. In the meantime have a look at her webside. Her art is beautiful and I find her very inspiring.

But let's get back to my creative weekend. After having taken down all the Christmas decoration, my windows looked a bit bare so I made some cute hearts, which I put on the windows instead. They were so easy and quick to make that I decided I should make some more soon.

I also had some leftover wool, which I used to crochet a bath mat. (Please ignore the floor. I know it's horrible but as we only rent this place there is nothing I can do about it. ) The bath mat looks brilliant with the duckegg letters I got for Christmas. I looove them.

And last but not least I won this desk on ebay last night! I was so excited when we went to pick it up today. We had to drive all across London, which took ages, but I think it was totally worth it! The desk/console table was a bargain. I'm planning to sand it down and paint it white. I want to give it a distressed look. I'm quite excited about it and can't wait to get started. I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Speak to you soon,

Nadine x
